About the internship:
GPC has been organizing internship program in Sweden and India since 2020. Our goal is to attract young talents to join us and to achieve the goals for increased protection of health and the environment.
For the summer internship we are looking for candidates in the following areas:
Regulatory Affairs (law/political studies students)
Digital Marketing
Business Development
Sales
Information Technology

During the internship, you will be working either with a single project or assist with the daily work at the office. This will depend on what area you will be working in and your personal goals.
Here are some examples of what you might have to do during your internship:
Perform research on international trade regulations and the overseas market(s).
Draft summaries of current trade and compliance issues for buyers and suppliers.
Develop tools to ease compliance management.
Gather and provide detailed analysis and information which may financially impact sourcing decisions from a target country - due to compliance requirements in sourcing country.
Identify opportunities for actors in the supply chain to gain from the compliance requirements with a specific sectoral regulation.
Interpret and comply with national, federal (when applicable) and international regulations and legislations.
Support in writing new business quotes and proposals.
Assist business development team on various activities.
Required Skills
Strong work ethic, ability to work individually as well as in a team, take initiative, and the ability to manage projects.
Self-motivated, self-sufficient, analytical, trustworthy, and detail-oriented are vital qualities.
Adept with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
For Information Technology Interns: we are looking for students with an interest in functional programming and web development with knowledge of the central technologies used in frontend web development (HTML, CSS) as well as a high-level programming language. A good understanding of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL and have familiarity with a functional programming language is preferred.

Thailand's Chemical Law and Hazardous Substance Act (HSA) (requires fluent Thai)

Internship Location: Lund, Sweden
(Please note: For applicants outside Sweden/EU, only applicants with a valid VISA would be considered for this internship)
