The position we offer

As part of the Nordea Core Banking Platform programme (CBP) you will bring our strategy alive and develop solutions that exceed our customer's expectations.
You will play a key role, driving development and analysis initiatives in Nordic contexts with close collaboration with senior stakeholders within Personal Banking as well as other business areas, product units, and IT.
As a Strategic Partner in CBP solution design you will successfully take your analysis and projects from identification to completion. Agile project management, performing analyses, structured problem solving, preparing well-structured written/oral communications and decision proposals as well as managing stakeholders are central ingredients of the job.
We offer a work environment at the center of the Nordic banking industry, with great colleagues and inspiring tasks that will be of importance for the future development of the bank. This typically means high attention to detail and willingness to test and explore new ideas. The location of the work can be in any of the Nordic capitals, with expected frequent (approximately 4-6 days per month) travel in the Nordic region.
The qualifications you need
The ideal candidate will have a strong personal drive and ability to take on complex challenges. This could have been demonstrated in strategy and change management projects in a fast moving industry.
Experience from successfully leading complex change initiatives will be highly valued, including direct delivery responsibility towards senior stakeholders. We are looking for candidates that are motivated by change and development. Successful candidates have 4-6 years of relevant work experience (e.g. from management or IT consulting).
You should have the ability to take on complex matters, break them down and design solutions that are simple and intuitive for our customers and advisors.
Dimensions that will be considered extra valuable:
• Strong business orientation and commercial awareness
• Structured problem solving and analytical capabilities
• Relevant professional background from management consulting or business development
• Experience from the financial services industry is an advantage
• Track record from working with executive management
• Excellent communication skills in English, knowledge of one or more of the Nordic languages will be considered as an extra asset
• Relevant Master's degree
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel and Word)

The Nordea Core Banking Platform (CBP) will deliver a single Nordic platform providing the core functions of banking, i.e. product management, deposits, loans as well as linking our customers to the state-of-the art digital channels as well as the advisory network in our branches as well as contact and online business centres. The CBP program will transform the Personal Banking operating models, business processes, products, governance and replace the related IT systems. These deliveries will impact over 11 million customers and 27 thousand employees.
