In order to meet our travel customers' needs, Stena Line is moving focus to the online sales channels. To succeed, we are strengthening our Scandinavian travel organization and as part of this process we are looking to recruit a Online Sales Representative.
Work description
Key responsibilities:
• Identify, build relations and close deals with online partners, such as online travel agents and tour operators, travel websites and portals, affiliate networks, review sites, etc.
• Identify new online sales channels
• Support traditional sales activities with online competence
• Coordinate online sales activities with local marketing organizations (PPC sales etc)
The position is placed at Stena Line's head office in Göteborg, Sweden, but you will work within our Scandinavian sales organization which is responsible for sales activities in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany and Poland. This will be done both directly by you and in cooperation with our local traditional sales representatives.
The role as Online Sales Representative is new in our organization. This means that you will have a strong influence on the set-up and the future development of the position. If you are successful, there is great scope and potential for you to build a bigger online sales team in the future.
Background
You are a graduate with proven background in online sales, with focus on partner channels. Exposure to the travel industry would be a strong asset.
You have an understanding of the opportunities technology gives our business, and partner integration tools like XML, web services and white labeling, should sound like music in your ears.
You need strong analyzing-, influencing- and communication skills together with demonstrable commercial acumen. The person we are looking for thrives on a challenge and your creativity plays an important role in developing new ideas and solutions.
Your English is fluent. Knowledge in German is a plus and so is experience in working in other Scandinavian languages than Swedish.
