Folkia AS is looking to recruit a new Head of Business Analysis & Risk. The position is primarily located in the Stockholm branch office (Medborgarplatsen), but can to a great extent also be performed from the Head office in Oslo (city), Norway.

The Head of Business Analysis & Risk has a central and proactive role in the organization managing business analysis, risk strategy, framework, policies and tools across the entire Folkia Group in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Denmark ensuring that the framework is fit for purpose and appropriately balances the branch and business perspectives.

We foresee that the incumbent, who reports directly to CEO (and, occasionally also to the Board of Directors), will spend most of its working time on business analysis and sustain close relationships with Head of Sales & Marketing, Head of Credit, General Counsel, Head of Compliance and CFO. The Head of Business Analysis & Risk will furthermore act as a specialist adviser to the CEO and Senior Management on operational risk issues in relation to new products, major projects / initiatives, business continuity & crisis management, ICAAP and all other related risk and analysis.

We believe that the successful candidate is a degree holder with 3-5 years business analysis and risk experience in the Banking & Finance field. However, we also think that risk and/or analysis experience from Insurance companies, Audit firms or the Credit Card industry can be an equally adequate and fit professional background. Candidates must have the ability to be sensitive to cross-cultural issues, have a practical understanding of the Nordic and Baltic key business activities and a comprehensive understanding of business analysis and operational risk principles. Applicants are required to possess excellent interpersonal, leadership, project management, communication and negotiation skills and ability to network.

The working language in the Folkia Group is English, and the mother tongue of most of our staff is either Swedish or Norwegian. Good command of the Finnish, Danish or Estonian languages will be seen as an asset.
