Do you want to join H&M's IT Department and work with Vendor Management, driving our vendor relationships and enabling increased value throughout the vendor life cycle?

Find your place in a fast moving environment where you as Vendor Manager have a key role within our IT organisation, building H&M's relationship with external vendors, enabling culture fit, maximising vendor performance and creating an optimal way of working. As Vendor Manager you will align vendor relationships across the IT-department on a strategic and tactical level. This is a challenging role within a great team in a dynamic and global organization where you will have significant opportunities to influence and make a difference. You will be a part of the Vendor Management unit, which is a part of the central IT Sourcing function.

Your key focus is to build and lead long term relationships with appointed vendors, stakeholders and colleagues. To develop vendor relationships in the right direction you will also communicate with and coordinate our internal stakeholders.

You are a team player, entrepreneurial and with a solution oriented "everything is possible" approach. You have strong communication skills and you are a people person. You will advise and support stakeholders in different sourcing related matters, this means that your communication skills are excellent.

Your responsibilities

The job of a Vendor Manager comes with lots of responsibility - and lots of fun.

Your to do-list includes:

Coordinate activities and develop commercial set up with vendors together with H&M Vendor Management team consisting of IT-management, Delivery responsible, Division Sourcing, amongst others
Evaluate and develop the vendor portfolio in line with the sourcing strategy
Assess vendors - their overall performance and compliance with H&M needs and roadmap
Develop, implement and manage our vendor governance models and strategic vendor development plans
Be responsible for developing, maintaining and reporting on KPI targets for all vendors under Vendor Management control. Support the work to compile and aggregate the IT departments total vendor performance view
Act as Contract Manager for the general terms in the Master Agreements
Scout the market and initiate contact with potential new vendors in cooperation with stakeholders in the organisation
Participate in the development of Vendor Management tools, processes and way of working with vendor relationship management
Provide support to H&M IT through our service offerings; Vendor Identification, New Vendor Evaluation and Vendor Onboarding
Further develop Vendor Management in a continuously changing environment
The role will require travelling a few times per year

Experience of managing vendors from a buyer perspective or customers from a supplier perspective
Experience from negotiations with suppliers or corresponding work with customers
Experience from IT contract management
Experience from working with Service providers
Ability to lead leaders and drive goals forward independently
Ability to work both strategically and operationally
Ability to identify and focus on the most important areas and tasks
Knowledge of and interest in doing international deals and complex commercial setups
Genuine interest in people and in building positive relationships
Entrepreneurship, a desire to build for the future
Have a strong interest in IT - you are a business smart IT person
Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken

To be successful we believe that you have documented experience from similar jobs and a bachelor degree or higher within business law, economics or IT.

The IT department is an important part of the company's business and carries out operations, software development and maintenance of the company's systems and business applications. The IT-department is located in Stockholm and Borås and conducts business virtually all over the globe.
