To stay ahead of the market and take our customer centricity to new heights, we are now looking for a Chief Customer Officer to join us at Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR).
In this new and pivotal role, you ensure our business grows to the next level by increasing collaboration and agility within our dynamic sales organization. You report directly to the President of SMR and become an essential part of the management team.

Your mission
By hosting, supporting and empowering our 14 Sales Areas, Global Account Management Team, and Sales Platform Team, you drive a streamlined reporting structure that enhances our responsiveness to global market dynamics. You maintain and strengthen the collaboration between our Sales Areas, as well as towards the SMR divisions, to enable quicker and more informed decisions and keep us ahead of geopolitical developments and market shifts. With your expertise and involvement, you ensure that we follow our common SMR strategic direction and ways of working.
To keep a global perspective and align strategy with execution, you work closely with our sales organizations and divisions, leveraging common functions within SMR, and acting as an important voice towards the Business Area Management team. Additionally, you strengthen governance by integrating sales area performance reviews and key customer management processes with our common strategic goals.
Sales Area VP's, Global Account Management Team, and Sales Platform Team will report directly to the CCO.
This role is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Your profile
We are looking for a visionary leader with a passion for driving customer-focused strategies and achieving business excellence, and a background within the mining or infrastructure industry. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in sales leadership, a proven track record of managing global accounts, and the ability to navigate both complex market dynamics and decentralized organizational structures. Naturally, your communication skills in English must be excellent.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to make informed decisions quickly are essential, along with being a good communicator, networker and negotiator. You grow our business and the people around you through empowering, influential and credible leadership, and you create a genuinely collaborative environment with a broad set of stakeholders. With your strategic mindset and confident approach, you drive initiatives and master challenges in our international, matrix and ever-changing organization.
