Role Summary/Purpose:
The Offshore Safety and Compliance Coordinator will support the Offshore Model Manager and System Integration Leaders by being responsible for Safety and Compliance activities of the offshore Wind Turbine Platform. He/she will be overall responsible for planning and coordination with the EHS team for Offshore Environmental, Health or Safety (EHS) activities and issues as well as with the Compliance and Certification teams for compliance activities and issues.
Essential Responsibilities:
He/she will also be responsible for planning and coordination of Compliance activities towards relevant product standards and regulations such as IEC-61400, CE-marking and the Machine directive. He/she will supervise implementation of actions that ensure observance of requirements of legislation, company EHS policies and procedures and to monitor and coordinate corrective actions identified on tracking registers.He/She will manage and coordinate the baseline safety assessment and improvement plans, compliance plans, certification plans with internal as well as external contacts regarding the offshore product along the lifecycle from design thru commissioning and service of the unit.
