The division Mining and Rock Excavation Service provides a broad range of services with the aim of maximizing customers' productivity. We focus on spare parts supply, professional service, support solutions and training. The divisional headquarters are located in Örebro, Sweden, and the distribution centers are located in China, Sweden and the United States
The Mission of the Vice President Research and Development is to take lead role for MRS Division for Mergers & Acquisitions and competitive market intelligence that supports our MRS Strategies
Specifics:
* Develop and execute the MRS M&A Divisional Strategy and Roadmap.
* Develop and execute the Product Line M&A Strategies.
* Develop working forums to support the M&A strategy process as well as standard templates for reporting.
* Represent MRS in the MR M&A Council and secure activities and strategy align to Business Area and Epiroc strategy and initiatives
* Manage all target mapping, target screening, contacting targets and maintaining relationships with targets, and pre-valuation activities.
* Oversee all M&A projects on going and assign project leaders and integration managers. Manage/support the project leaders through the process. Manage the MR MRS M&A database and M&A project databases. Standardize the way MRS handles the acquisition process with templates and tools.
* Review all valuation models ahead of Divisional or BA reviews. Take responsibility to secure synergies are correct in projects.
* Oversee creation of NDAs, LOIs, and other required documents.
* Take lead in negotiation activities or in conjunction with local country GM.
* Oversee integration planning and synergy planning.
* Support the project leaders through the Due Diligence process.
* Sign off on the standard Epiroc Divisional, BA, and ECM acquisition presentations before providing to each approval stage.
* Manage project leaders until after start of integration phase. Support in improving the integration processes for the MRS Division.
* Secure all activities around M&A align to the BA and stay in contact and synch with BA and persons responsible for M&A.
* Collect market intelligence in regards to competitors and secure that information supports the divisional and product line strategies.
* When required support in all business development activities including but not limited to OEM agreements, IP licensing, technology transfers, joint ventures and similar business development items..

This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
