As a User Researcher/UX Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing the developer experience within our global fashion brand 's internal development portal, Backstage. This full-time role, based at our dynamic headquarters in Stockholm, involves working closely with our UX and software development teams to develop and refine tools that meet the evolving needs of our developers. You will report directly to the UX Lead and collaborate extensively with both technical teams and management to push boundaries and innovate within our tech space.
This role is as a consultancy via Adecco that is planned to start within immediate affect and will initially go on until the end of September. For the right candidate there are possibilities for extension.
In your role as User Researcher/UX, your primary responsibilities will include:
Conducting both qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand the workflows, challenges, and needs of our software developers.
Collaborating with UX leads and software developers to translate research findings into actionable design improvements and technological innovations.
Managing the entire research cycle-from planning and recruiting participants to executing studies and presenting insightful findings.
Advocating for user-centric approaches and influencing product strategy and implementation with your research insights.
This position is a permanent appointment, with a start date as soon as possible.
About You
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in User Research, specifically within a software development context. You should have extensive experience working in software development environments and possess a deep understanding of the key processes and typical challenges faced by developers.
Additionally, your profile should include:
• An ability to synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advanced knowledge of User Experience (UX) principles and familiarity with integrating user research into the UX design process.
• Experience using UX design tools and methodologies to prototype and iterate on solutions based on user feedback.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and methods to support research findings.
