Unilever is now looking for an Assistant Brand Manager within Becel to be based in Stockholm. Due to its health profile it is a complex brand that requires activation and communication direct to consumers as well as to HCP (health care professionals) and KOF (key opinion formers). You will be fully responsible for the Swedish market and will work in co-operation together with the Becel marketing team across Nordics. You will report into the Senior Brand Manager of Becel who is based in Solna, Stockholm. Join our successful team!

Background
Becel has a strong position in Sweden and the responsibility of the local Assistant Brand Manager is to secure and implement market plans. The Assistant Brand Manager role is a diverse and wide role. It requires a strong consumer understanding coupled with ability to translate insight into communication and activation. The role also requires strong people skills in managing internal local and European contacts as well as external NGO collaborations and KOF/HCP contacts.

The profile sought has experience within FMCG and have already achieved visible results within marketing and as such laid a good foundation and a proven record of skills.

It is important that you have fully developed communication skills. But most important is an analytical, result/business oriented and energetic personality. We are looking for someone with a great internal drive and who takes ownership for tasks and can set their own goals. Masters degree in marketing is preferred, and experience from sales or category management is a plus.

Key responsibilities:
• Develop and drive long term brand vision driving growth
• Adapt and adjust European brand vision strategies & action plans into local needs
• Secure and implement long & short term market plans
• Manage local and external stakeholders
• Understand consumers, shoppers and marketing dynamics
• Utilize key shopper/consumer insights in planning and activation
• Conduct competitor and market analysis
• Direct contact for Brand Development and aligned agencies for developing platform/strategy and communication plans
• Plan and implement media, PR campaigns & instore activities

Desired skills/qualifications:
You hold a degree, preferably in marketing and you have approximately 1-2 years of experience in Marketing/Brand Management within the FMCG industry.

You are/have:
• Developed analytical skills of the FMCG market & what drives sales
• Experience in developing business strategy and implementation
• Strong communication and people skills
• Good creative skills
• Fluent skills in English, and preferably also Swedish, both speaking and writing
• Preferably experience from globally owned companies
• Good team player and influencer
• Good solution oriented mindset and ability to work independently
• A strong drive and passion for winning!
