West Atlantic Cargo Airlines specializes in tailored aircraft solutions for Global Integrators, National Mail Organizations, and other B2B e-commerce suppliers with both ad-hoc and long-term demand for cargo aircraft.

With more than 50 years of continuous operating experience we specialize in wet leasing, ACMI, and full charter services, supporting both local and International customers worldwide.
With a fleet of more than 50 aircraft, which includes the British Aerospace ATP, Bombardier CRJ 200 PF, Boeing 737-300 / 400 / 800 Freighters, and the Boeing 767-200, we presently cover a capacity range from 6.5 to 40 metric tonnes.

Focus is on safe operations, high reliability, and customer service.
West Atlantic holds two Air Operating Certificates, one in the UK and one in Sweden, which together operated over 24,000 flights in 2017 whilst serving more than 50 destinations

Position Type: Permanent, full time

Work Pattern: Daytime Monday- Friday office hrs.

Location: Gothenburg office

Reports to: Planning Manager / Anna-Karin Lindblad



Role Summary:

The travel department is one of the main functions of the company.

The department's focus is to ensure that the crew is in the right place, at the right time, at a reasonable cost with regard to the rules of service and collective agreements etc.



Responsibilities:

• Book tickets, ground transports and handle hotel reservations
• Changes and cancellations of tickets, hotels and ground transportation
• Handling Jump seat requests
• Invoice handling
• Administrate online users and profiles
• Insurance handling
• Proactively work with hotels and the aviation market to be able to monitor the availability of our production



Academic/Educational Requirements:

• Academic degree or similar
• Windows office package
• Amadeus skills



Required Skills/Experience/knowledge:

• Developed ability to think forward, understanding complex situations and finding solutions
• Comfortable with and used to work in a constantly changing work environment
• Fluent in Swedish and English, advantage if good knowledge in German and/or French
• PDC knowledge is not a requirement but meritorious

• High social competence since you are going to have contact with staff all the time
• Use to handle deadlines and short time frames
• Quick to adapt to new situations and instructions
• Service oriented
• Self-motivated
• Team player as well as ability to work self-supportive
• Strong ability to organize multiple tasks, structure, plan and get things done
