hela Sverige SEB in Stockholm seeks a Test Manager to set the strategy and lead the way in one of our most unique modernization projects ever.
Our Cash Ledger is at the heart of the bank, handling our core transactions . As part of future-proofing the bank we are re-building the platform, and will deliver our first solution in production 2024. We're modernizing our very core, and our way of working in a mainframe environment with test automation, CI/CD, DevOps, and TDD.
About the Position
As Test Manager in the Cash Ledger project, you 're responsible for the end-to-end test strategy. Your task is to understand the objectives of the project as well as the needs and requirements of our stakeholders, and make decisions regarding test strategies, processes, and working methods You and the project management will build a test team accordingly. You will have SEB:s general test strategy to guide you, but you will also have large mandate to strategize e.g., test automation, test environments, TDD and integration testing, ensuring that we deliver stable and reliable deployments and solutions.
We 're not re-creating the current platform 1:1, but adapting the new one to our present and future business and tech needs. We have chosen modern mainframe solutions for the new platform - keeping it robust and reliable. This combined with our way of working with DevOps tools, automatic testing and continuous deployment will be a unique merger of mainframe and DevOps.

Your team
You are in the Core Ledger Team, formed 2,5 years ago with the task of re-shaping the platform. We are now 15 people in the project group. You will work in agile sprints (SAFe framework) alongside project managers, devs, solution architects, POs, business analysts and Scrum masters. You report to the overall project manager. Even though we have different backgrounds and specialties, our shared goal is to make this technical transition to the highest standard - together.
We work according to a hybrid remote model. When we 're not working from home, we work in SEB: s Tech Office in Solna.
Your Profile
The scope of this role requires the ability to both collaborate and lead, and the ability to assess when which of these qualities is needed. Things will change along the way as we move further in the project, calling for flexibility and ability to adapt. You 'll be at the intersection of many stakeholders and solutions and will need to be aware of the complexity of the organization and the project. You initiate solutions fitting for both the task at hand and the overall picture.
In terms of experience, you have a background in setting up methods and processes for end-to-end testing in a complex IT environment with many integrations, for example in banking or finance. You have experience in test automation, either hands-on or strategically. Our working language is English and being able to communicate effortlessly in English is a requirement. Experience in DevOps is meritorious.
