Description

Tetra Pak is the world's leading company for food processing and packaging solutions.

Tetra Pak Processing Systems sells and delivers customised liquid food plants within food, dairy & beverage industry to customers worldwide. We supply our solutions through a worldwide network of market companies.

Central Supply Management (CSM) within Tetra Pak Processing Systems is responsible for the supplier base for Processing Solutions globally.

We are now looking for a Team Manager who will be overall responsible for the site segment Subcontracted Goods supplier base and lead a team of supply managers.

This position is based in Lund, Sweden and requires travelling of up to 40 days per year.

Main responsibilities
• Set and follow-up on site segment objectives and performance targets
• Work closely with clients to achieve best possible sourcing solution
• Be responsible for a few supplier accounts according to Supply Manager role
• Be responsible for the locally adapted quality and management system
• Ensure that the team works in accordance with process and comply with policies
• Motivate, stretch and inspire team members to reach objectives and performance targets
• Provide coaching and support team members in their development, as well as conduct appraisal talks and salary reviews
• Drive and inspire the team to achieve good saving results and increased capabilities in purchasing category approach

Qualifications

You possess a genuine interest for developing others and coaching comes natural to you. In addition to being a clear communicator it is also important that you are self motivated and has both an analytical mindset and a strategic ability.

We believe that you have 5-10 years relevant working experience. Besides having experience within Sourcing / Supplier Management, we also believe that you have technical experience preferable within manufacture of equipment for the food / stainless steel industry. It is also very beneficial if you have previous managerial experience.

You possess a good process and business understanding. Naturally you are proficient in English both verbal and written where as other languages are a merit.
