ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
Purpose:
To manage collaboration for all product categories between customers, factories, third-party manufacturers, and EMs within the Area ensuring execution of quality processes, compliance & performance in the supply chain. Continually improve the overall quality of products & services for the consumer and customers by increasing EMs Quality capabilities and Quality awareness.
The role is exercised through strong influencing skills working with number of stakeholders, at factory level, commercial unit and a network of Quality Managers.
Context:
The Supplier Quality Manager will be a member of the Area Quality team but with responsibility end to end through the Supply Chain for all product categories supplied by the factories and third-party manufacturers* (FMC, NGP, OTP and Oral) within the cluster for inputs into the factory. Working with multiple functions across the organization and with stakeholders at different levels both internal and external to the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
Drive Quality Performance: Contributing to logistics, warehouse, and distribution processes through the monitoring of Quality Performance indicators by supporting Local/Regional/Global improvement projects and by managing quality incidents
Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor & report quality performance at Area level: Drive continuous improvement through the Area Quality Improvement Forum (Quality / Product / Supply Chain / Procurement / TM&D). Work in close collaboration with above market Quality - ensuring the right level of interaction within Area to drive and implement improvement plans as required and to escalate to Quality performance to selected forums
Building EM Capability: Support key stakeholders in capability building related to Product / Quality knowledge to ensure compliance to the Global Quality Standards (RQA, PI&T, P&HM, Shelf Life, product specifications,) using problem-solving techniques, for all products categories. Collaborate in building and maintenance of the cluster technical capabilities, within the supply chain, required to perform product assessments for Shelf Life study/extension & Adverse Event evaluation.
Ensuring adherence to compliance Standards: Ensuring standards RQA, PI&T, P&HM, Shelf life policies, Transport and Warehouse policies and Adverse Events followed by EMs as per defined capabilities.
New Category deployment: Ensure quality assurance and required quality capability for all new product platforms and projects deployed in the supply chain (i.e., in Transport and Warehousing).
Support for repacking quality control plans, support reverse logistics (samples sending to manufacturer or Central locations for RCA as a part of DPI) and environmental conditions monitoring along the supply chain.
Ensure knowledge and process are followed within Area of reporting consumers complaints as per Consumer Care process, support EM consumer care capability set up from complaint reporting standpoint.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
3-5-years' experience in either factory shop floor or supply chain quality - preferable
Influencing, negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong Stakeholder management skills
Experience in data analysis and Microsoft Office is a must
Good Communication skills both verbally and written in English
Good understanding of statistics and a strong problem-solving attitude
Confident in performing trainings and presentations for bigger groups
BENEFICIAL
