The Sr. Area Sales Director or Regional Sales Director is accountable for driving incremental sales in the IT Services arena on existing assigned accounts. The role is targeted to a single client but may include types of work.
• A technology background with strong client-facing skills
• At least 2-3 years of previous experience in IT Services company or equivalent, with particular exposure to leveraging a similar model to drive growth in Financial Services industry.
• Extensive work experience in a global delivery model and at client sites
• Deep knowledge of IT strategies and prior work experience in the IT competitive landscape. Preferably with IT service provider.
Further, Account Executive will have the ability to:
• Articulate HCL's value proposition to the client (educating the client about the efficiencies our tools and accelerators)
• Package' unstructured pieces of work into an outlined scope
• Discuss contractual and commercial constructs of relevant deals
• Rapidly respond to tactical resource requirements along with an ability to address small to mid-sized projects with technical proposals
Role Expectations
• Drive incremental sales under the sponsorship of the Client Account Lead and the Industry Technology Competency Lead, with a focus on growing the IT Services business
• Generate additional revenue as agreed with the Regional Lead and Industry Technology Competency Lead
• Develop and manage client relationships to identify business requirements, and define service requirements for new services
• Leverage GDC capabilities to influence resourcing strategies
• Work closely with Regional Leads, and the GDC to commit to the scope of work, schedule and cost
• Manage the operational and financial performance of the incremental sales on account
• Participate in account planning and forecasting activities
Ensure timely delivery of services by influencing internal processes & ecosystem.
