Challenge description:

Heading up Global aftermarket (GLAM) is a key role for both the customer experience as well as the bottom line revenue for the company. In this role you work truly cross-functional with our regions, our engine sales segments, product development, Quality, Brand communication and marketing, process & IT as well as several Volvo group entities. The main target is to deliver a profitable total offer and build good customer satisfaction
Functional responsibilities in aftermarket include:
• Business development
• Parts logistics
• Field service support
• Technical service
• Diagnostics and Embedded software
• Parts & Service literature, engineering, training
• Parts pricing
• Business control
Main activities and responsibilities:
• Lead the Aftermarket community and the Parts & acessories segment to reach Volvo Pentas targets for profitability and customer satsifaction with strategic plan, execution plans and delivery performance
• Optimize the operating income for the Parts & acessorie segment with marketing activities, pricemanagement in co-operation with the regions sales activities
• Secure a sucessful transformation of aftermarket into new technologies
• Develop the services offering in co-operation with engine segments to build a strong total offer
• Deliver fulll aftermarket suppport package at start of delivery for all engine launches
• Develop the dealer capabilities globally in co-operation with the regions
• Secure good parts availability with good co-operations with GTO service market logistics and purchasing
• Develop the efficiency in the aftermarket operations including IT system capabilities
• Deliver quick response time and solution lead-time in the customer support quality process in co-operation with regions and product development
• Develop product quality diagnostics in co-operation with product development
• Optimize the product life cycle for parts, acessories, and embedded software
