SENIOR SUPPLY MANAGER Ref No LUN0000JD

Tetra Pak is the world's leading company for food processing and packaging solutions. Tetra Pak Processing Systems sells and delivers customised liquid food plants within food, dairy & beverage industry to customers worldwide. We supply our solutions through a worldwide network of market companies.

Central Supply Management (CSM) within Tetra Pak Processing Systems is responsible for the supplier base for Processing Solutions globally.

We are now looking for a Senior Supply Manager who will work with the biggest supplier in Tetra Pak Processing Systems supplier base

This position is based in Lund, Sweden and requires travelling of up to 30 days per year.

Main responsibilities

• Be a central part of the team working with Tetra Pak Processing Systems biggest supplier
• Prepare and perform commercial and legal negotiations
• Drive external supply chain performance projects and activities
• Develop and maintain price models
• Interface towards clients and supplier in several areas
• Drive and develop a Purchasing category
• Improve and develop supplier portfolio together with Product Managers and Purchasing category leaders

Qualifications

We believe that you have excellent communications skills and the ability to network with stakeholders in a long-term view on all levels.

To be successful in this role you need to possess a good business understanding as well as a strong personal drive.
You combine good analytical skills with strong personality to reach business objectives. As you handle a major strategic supplier, your achievements will impact the result to a large extent and you will be exposed to senior management. To succeed in the role you will need to show a good level of informal authority with stakeholders on all levels as well as diplomatic skills. You will work closely together with your manager and a colleague dedicated to the account.

You have a university degree in Business Administration or Engineering together with several years of work experience which include supply chain, production, logistics, controlling or other relevant areas connected to supplier management.

Experience from the dairy industry is seen as a merit. For the position, excellence in spoken and written English and MS Office is a must. Experience of SAP R/3 is valuable.
