hela Sverige The department Electrical Integration Development is responsible for integration and testing of the complete electrical system and for management of the complete electrical development process (PMTI). Today the department consists of one section and three groups.
The group Software & Electrical Knowledge Area are responsible for all needed PMTI to support developers how is working with Functions, Systems, SW, HW and Test.
Software is already a large part of our cars today and it continuous to grow - both from a volume and complexity perspective. To keep up with these challenges VCC continuously need to define more efficient way of working. We have a challenge in the complexity growth in SW & HW and the number of coming project, we need to further develop our way to structure and configure our product.
You now have the opportunity to work with our Software and Electrical Processes.
Main responsibilities
* Drive Process work within R&D and join annual studies, OD projects
* Recognized as a go-to person re SW & HW developing process
* Recognized as a go-to person re VPDS logic and working procedures
* Establish/maintain network(s) within the area to increase knowledge
* Support in contact with external suppliers and purchasing re. PMTI
* Secure and follow up implementation of decided changes for PMTI within SEKA
* Develop and educate within PMTI courses in SEKA
* Responsible that necessary education material is available within SEKA re PMTI and is performed in right extent
* Actively drive the main process meeting within SEKA as Electrical Process Committee
* Drive and lead the change process within Volvo Cars P&Q Product Creation "SW & HW Knowledge Area (SEKA), together with responsible for PMTI within SEKA
* Coordinate and harmonies SEKA with other product development processes and Knowledge Areas within Volvo Cars
* Represent SEKA and develop applicable parts in Volvo Cars product creation logic (VPDS) connected to SW & Electronics
* Responsible that the SEKA is qualitative correct documented according to current regulations in Volvo Cars Business Management system (BMS)
Required qualifications
* Minimum Master Degree or equivalent within relevant field
* 10 years of experience in Development
* Demonstrated capability and willingness to teach / coach / mentor
* Documented high level of communication skill and presentation techniques
* Demonstrated initiative and capability to drive process oriented
* Experience of tool chains, e.g. TCr, Elektra, KDP
* Experience of project management, including agile methods (e.g. Scrum), configuration management, test management, and QA
* Ability to drive, motivate and convince. Easy to communicate with people
* Fluent in English
