We work closely together with stakeholders across several Business Areas (BAs), Truck Divisions (TDs), and Group Functions (GFs). While the BAs drive the business, the TDs provide research, development, purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly. Within Volvo Group, the GFs own the Group agenda, provide strategic direction, and have global responsibility in group-wide functions such as IT, legal, compliance, and security.
With Enterprise IT Security, you will be part of Group Digital & IT (Group Function). A global and diverse team of highly skilled professionals who work passionately, trust each other, and embrace change to stay ahead. Enterprise IT Security works closely with Group Security and security functions within TDs, Bas, and GFs. Together we work to build a security posture that is best in class.
Role Description
In this role, you will:
Oversee the governance of cyber threat protection technologies and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Work closely with infrastructure teams to oversee the implementation of cyber threat protection technologies.
Validate the implementation to ensure that the right level of technical configurations is set.
Identify gaps in the organization's cyber threat protection and address them in a cross-team effort.
Conduct regular reviews of the organization's cyber threat protection policies, procedures, and controls to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
Analyze cyber threat data and provide recommendations for improving the organization's cyber threat protection strategies.
Develop and deliver training programs to increase cyber threat awareness across the organization.
Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber threats and trends in cyber threat protection technologies.
Liaise with external partners and vendors to ensure the organization's cyber threat protection technologies are up-to-date and effective.
Critical Competencies
At least 8 years of experience in cyber threat protection solution implementation (design, map out requirements and create RFI, review RFP) and best practice configurations.
Experience in working with well-established security frameworks.
In-depth knowledge of cyber threat protection technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and antivirus software.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
