The accounting department within the Volvo Group is responsible for financial compliance in all legal entities. Financial compliance is defined as meeting all statutory requirements and internal Volvo Group requirements as described in policies, directives and in Financial Policies and Procedures (FPP).
Our department secures financial compliance in all legal entities in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders in the group. We also manage the local tax administration and local treasury related tasks in accordance with directions and approvals from Group Functions. Reviews the legal entity finance and are proactive regarding risk management, funding and capitalization while securing adherence to Volvo Group Policies, directives and instructions.
Job Description
You will work in close co-operation with the Chief Accountant responsible for Volvo Parts AB and Volvo Logistics AB and support her in all areas her responsibility such as:
• Deliver the complete financial statement for legal entity in the consolidation system BCS. The delivery should be aligned with relevant chapters of Financial Policies and Procedures and other guidelines (including local GAAP) for financial reporting
• Drive daily control and monitoring within all relevant accounting processes
• Ensure completion of all statutory and compliance reporting for the legal entity
• Ensure that the figures are analysed and documented according to Volvo Guidelines.
• Coordinate and facilitate audits for the legal entity
• Ensure compliance with internal control objectives, local GAAP's and Financial Policies and Procedures
• Support the different stakeholders throughout the entire closing process - not only within own function/ organisation

Preferred Academic Degree and Experience
• Academic degree in economy/ finance or equivalent education
• Minimum three years of advanced experience in the field of accounting
• Experience from SAP R/3 and BCS
• Thorough knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience from ACC Finance & Accounting processes
• Knowledge about IFRS, FPP and local GAAP
• Good command of Swedish and English both verbal and written
