hela Sverige The Program Departments within Business Unit Missile Systems is responsible for delivering a wide range of Customer Contracts within our broad product portfolio. We are expanding and the function "PMO Coordination & Planning" need a section manager for the new organization starting 1st January 2024. The context is an international arena with close cooperation with other Saab entities, FMV and international customers and partners.
Your role
The Head of PMO Coordination & Planning will be responsible for managing a team of about ten people that shall support the Projects and Programs in different areas. Together within the department we shall succeed in delivering our contracts to our customer on time and with great quality.
As the section manager you will report to the head of Programs & Projects within Business Unit Missile Systems, and be part of the departement's management team. You are expected to enhance the development of our ways of working. To recruit and develop the right people, initiate and maintain interpersonal relations and develop the ways of working are also important ingredients in the job.
The section PMO Coordination & Planning shall support the project and programme managers in project and security administration, master planning, forecasting, execution follow-up, risk management and related areas. The contracts are distributed over anti-ship missiles, missile subsystems and in service support contracts.
The work is done in a team context, where the Business Unit also provides several of the other management roles such as Project, Product, Commercial and Quality Management. Close cooperation with Dynamics Operations in terms of Engineering & Development, Purchasing and Production is of essence.
Your profile
We think that you have well developed management skills, experience from master planning and/or forecasting, and a high interest in developing people. You are prestigeless and love teamwork. Delivering commitments through other people is one of your strengths. Building new functions and finding the best ways of working challenges you.
As for all managerial roles it is vital that you have an ability to take initiative, communicate expectations on the right level and contribute in a team. You like to build teams and drive progress with sustained performance for everybody involved.
We believe you have commercial and business experience, preferably in an international context. You should be comfortable with the multi-project domain and complex structures and have an ability to simplify complicated problems. You like creating overviews and being educational in your ways of communicating.
We think that you have an academic degree in a relevant area and good communication skills in English, verbal and written. Driving licence including ability to travel mainly within Sweden is anticipated. Knowing Antura is a great merit. It is also a plus if you have management experience from the defence industry. Experience of the products in Business Unit Missile Systems portfolio is a strength, but not a requirement.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will work with experienced professionals in an environment generally depending on close cooperation between several roles, functions and partners. Cooperation is especially necessary with Marketing & Sales, Commercial & Business Support, Quality and Product management.
