JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for strengthening relations with existing sales distributors, expanding the sales network, identifying new sales channels, and fulfilling goals related to sales, profitability and market penetration within both the academic and industrial sectors. The Sales Channel Manager will administer sales practices, and assist to develop and roll-out sales and marketing tools, as well as policies, used by sales distributors to meet and exceed sales goals. In addition to forecasting, the Sales Channel Manager will be responsible for proactively implementing strategic and customized solutions for sales distributors and other partners with a specific revenue target tied to each.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Fulfilling sales quotas for each specific sales channel
• Ensuring revenue targets are met and that sales partners meet their targets by analyzing specific performance metrics
• Recruiting and evaluating new and existing sales partners based on specific market requirements
• Channel management planning, strategic and operational planning, market development, business planning and forecasting
• Promoting Bioprocess Control solutions through each sales channel and various internal and external marketing events
• Managing and assisting sales partners with leads qualification and pipe-line management
QUALIFICATIONS
You are expected to have extensive working experience and a record of accomplishment in channel sales development and management in a B2B environment. You are required to have a relevant education or sufficient competence in the technology area and a track record of business development, consultative selling and negotiation skills for high-tech products. Knowledge and experience in chemical or environmental engineering is preferable. Excellent knowledge of English both written and spoken is required. An additional language skill is desired. Working experience in international companies or multi-cultural environments is appreciated.
The position will be based in Lund. You will report to the Managing Director. The position is open from autumn 2014.
