We are seeking a Radiochemist to supervise and organize our manufacturing team based at the Akademiska Hospital, Uppsala. The Imanet production team consists of 5 radiochemists who have responsibility for the production and quality control of radioactive pharmaceuticals for use in PET investigations.
Essential Responsibilities:
The main functions for the supervisor will include:
Supervise and organize/plan the activities at the site,
Be the primary contact for the customers and the landlord, contact and responsible for GE functions as financials (orders and invoices) and EHS, contact towards governmental entities and site contact and link to the rest of the team for the supply chain manager.
A Radiochemist will:
Participate in the production of radioactive tracers for use with human patients
Participate in the quality control processes during production process
Be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of production equipment according to planned periods as well as on a needs basis
Monitor of material requirements including ordering of chemicals and materials used in the production process
Work with and development of GMP documentation
Please note this position includes requirement for shift work. Normally two night shifts per week (work hours roughly about 02.00-08.00).

Qualifications/Requirements:
Several years of experience as process operator in similar or related environment
Fluent in both English and Swedish, both written and spoken
Ability to work within tight deadlines and within strict controls
High level of responsibility and attention to safety
Ability to work in a structured, organized and well planned manner
High level of consciousness with regards to quality
Ability to take additional responsibility for site and provide team direction and support
EU work permit
Desired Characteristics:
Bachelors Degrees within relevant scientific area or equivalent technical certification / experience
Some years chemical laboratory experience in an academic of industrial setting
Training and experience in GMP
Experience in PET chemistry
Previously worked night shifts
Good communication skills
Ability to work both on your own and in a team
Previous experience as supervisor or team lead
