hela Sverige As a R&D Team Manager in HVDC R&D Control & Protection System Solutions, you will be part of the Technology & Solutions Development (Business R&D) organization in HVDC, Hitachi Energy, Ludvika, Sweden.
At HVDC R&D Control and Protection System Solutions, we work extensively with Real-Time Hardware-In Loop innovation and development. The cutting-edge solutions developed in this team are the building blocks for commercial HVDC projects, enhancing the HVDC Control and Protection System offering by Hitachi Energy.

Responsible for a Research and Development (R&D) team, manage planning, execution activities and resources.
Ensure quality, cost, timeliness of deliverables and stakeholders satisfaction.
Ensure cross-function, cross technology line/business collaboration e.g. product management, portfolio management etc.
People management, promote sustainable competence and talent development.
Create inspiring team's vision connected with organization's vision & strategy, promote innovation spirit and operation excellence.

Your background
You have Master's degree and strong technical background within power system or software development, preferably in HVDC, FACTS etc.
Passion for people and technology. You are smart collaborator, strong in decision making, and have right inner drive to deliver in a dynamic environment.
Prior experience in R&D and in people management are preferable.
Proficiency in English is a requirement as you will be part of a company that operates on the global arena.
