Your Role
Do you want to be part of and design next generation's fighter aircraft? We are now looking for you who wants to be part of the team that designs and analyzes the propulsion system, i.e. air intake, engine/gas turbine and engine exhaust, for the next generation of fighter aircraft. You will be part of a team with experienced colleagues within aerodynamic design, gas turbine technology and performance as well as related modelling and methodology development.
Your Profile
You will work with aerodynamic design of air intakes, aerodynamics associated to the aircraft aftbody and the engine exhaust as well as take part in wind tunnel campaigns. Moreover, your work will include modeling of propulsion related aerodynamic effects on gas turbine and aircraft performance.
For this position we seek a person with a Master or Licentiate/PhD degree and experience in aerodynamics and CFD. You are an analytic person; you like to work with complex problems and find it interesting to do comprehensive and deep analyses. You like to work in a team and you are a good collaborator, you take initiative and drive your own work.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

You will be part of the Propulsion systems department at Saab Aeronautics. The department is responsible for the propulsion system in Saab's aerial vehicles. The department has about 25 employees within different professions such as computational engineers, system engineers and software engineers.
