Programme Advisor (Programrådgivare)
Assignment
In your role, you will be part of the International Programme Department and the Quality Assurance and Programme Advice Team. The assignment is focused on improving and assuring the quality of the international programmes and projects developed by local partners with support from ERIKS' Regional Offices. Major responsibilities include:
• Strengthening the organisation's knowledge and competence on ERIKS' thematic areas and crosscutting perspectives.
• Development of relevant policies, guidelines, and instructions.
• Review of new projects and partner organisations.
• Planning and implementation of capacity development activities.
• Support to Regional Offices in the elaboration of Country Strategies and Annual Reports.
Profile
We are looking for you who enjoy working in a team and easily collaborate with people of different backgrounds and nationalities. You have an interest in details but are also able to see them in the wider context. You are self-motivated and able to carry out comprehensive assignments.
• You have an academic degree in the field of International Relations, Human Rights or Social Studies. Alternatively another academic degree and extensive experience from work in the sector.
• You have at least 2 years' work experience from the sector of International Development Cooperation, preferably connected to child rights issues.
• You are a proficient user of English (level C1) and at least independent user of Swedish (level B1).
• You share the organisation's values (see Om oss - Erikshjälpen (erikshjalpen.se).
Specific merits that we value are;
• Experience from working with Monitoring and Evaluation.
• Competencies in any of ERIKS' crosscutting themes; Gender (SRHR), Environment/Climate or Conflict Sensitivity.
• Basic or independent user of French
