Mercer is seeking a consultant that will be working on global projects helping multinational Nordic companies to manage their global benefits such as pooling arrangements, benefit audits, international pension plans etc. Some of our projects are large and complex - Multi Line of Business and Multi Business would not be unusual ? therefore good interpersonal and project management skills are required. The role involves contact with clients, colleagues within the Mercer Marsh Benefits space and other Lines of Business? as well as external providers.
Besides this you will be working with major multinational companies and make pension calculations under different accounting standards, such as IAS 19. As you evolve into a more international role you will also work with actuarial projects for pension funds. We give you the opportunity to develop your skills, be a part of a global organization and work closely with our experienced consultants.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance or related field
• 3+ years pension related work experience preferably in a consulting environment
• Successful client relationship experience
• Strong verbal and written English;
• Sales and business acumen;
• Superior proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Understanding of Actuarial principals and methodologies
• Excellent interpersonal skills; strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
