The H&M Head Office is based in Stockholm where we design and develop our fashion collections for a wide variety of customers. Job Description
As Product Designer you are responsible for designing and developing collections for our dedicated Kids girls' customer 8 -14 years old. You will be part of a fast - paced environment and adaptable to change. Our customer is fashionable & on trend, playful and creative and moves in fast pace towards next trends.
You will work with a wide range of products across fancy jersey/light knit with licensed print & graphics for the girls customer. You will be working closely with the whole team, as well as with production in developing collections towards all our global markets. We strongly value a genuine interest and understanding of our girlswear customer. We have high ambitions and a great team spirit!
Qualifications
We believe that you as a person are driven, hands-on and self-motivated with a global, curious mindset and a genuine passion for girls wear and fashion. You are well-organized, love teamwork and have strong and clear communication skills. You enjoy taking ownership and being flexible in your way of working. Your leadership experience will be valuable in guiding and working closely with two junior designers. You are motivated by and passionate about building the Young Girls collection, adapting and finding new ways of working in a creative, highly entrepreneurial and diverse environment. You are positive, energetic, creative and playful with a great eye for upcoming fashion trends for our girl's customer group. You have a flexible mindset with an ambition to develop further within our Young department!
You have:
a minimum BA degree in Fashion Design and are a Product designer today.
Have strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite/illustrator
Strong knowledge of CLO 3D
A true passion for and understanding of our H&M Girlswear customer and trends
A strong customer focus and strong commercial fashion thinking
A team player who thrives working in a diverse setting where you contribute with your perspectives
Like a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment with parallel tasks in an organized, structured manner
Leadership experience
A very strong self-drive and can take own initiatives and work independently
English fluency (Swedish not necessary)
