Price Management role, inside Parts and Service Contracts is responsible to develop and maintain our parts price structure, governance and strategy. The parts business is one of the major contributors for Volvo Trucks profitability and pricing is an essential part of our marketing offering. Our task is to support the areas and markets to optimize sales & profitability by providing data and tools to facilitate the decision making process.
Parts & Service Contracts consists of 5 functions: Parts Pricing, Sales Channels, Service Contracts, Parts Offer & Parts Product Management.
We are now posting the position as:
Price Analysis & Support Manager
As Price Analysis & Support Manager you will have the responsibility to provide price analysis reports and information to management and other stakeholders. You create dashboards, efficient measurement and information around the parts business. We strive to maximize sales penetration and profit for the company. You will work closely together with the sales areas and markets.
You will be a member of the VT Parts Pricing team within the Parts & Service Contracts department.
Main activities and responsibilities
• Create dashboards and reports to analyze the price position and structure of the parts business
• Develop and maintain dashboards & tools to support price/business decisions
• Create and support transfer price setting process together with sales area/markets and secure regular follow-up and documentation
• Follow-up & analyze parts net price realization per market and product segment on a regular base
• Track & report different price level across markets
• Utilize the existing parts data warehouses and create standard reports
• Create and follow-up reports of shared parts price level and volume
• Support the implementation and process of the new parts price system
• Provide information to related fora 's like PPN (Parts Price Network) & Parts Offer forum
• Coordinate the synchronization of price information between different systems
• Support the creating and implementation of the parts price strategy by providing relevant data
• Provide support for area and market pricing responsible
• Secure a deep dialogue with area 's/markets to understand market/customer requirements

You have

• Significant Aftermarket experience in the Volvo Group, market knowledge is an advantage
• Deep understanding of the parts price process and related systems
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent skills to provide reports in Excel/Power point/Business Objects
• Strong data warehouse knowledge
• Holistic view and ability to work cross functional
• Great skills to drive questions & requirements "in house"
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and work pro active
• Team player that likes interacting with different stakeholders
• Commercial awareness and a strong business understanding
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Willingness to work across different cultures to achieve business growth
• Management/leadership experience
• A university degree in business or engineering or experience from similar positions
• Excellent communication skills in English
