Post-doc position evolutionary/ speciation genetics

Applications are invited for a post-doc position in evolutionary / speciation genetics, in particular the genetics of incipient species and hybrid incompatability. The research group investigates consequences of speciation using different approaches in different systems, and the succesfull applicant will have considerable freedom to plan and execute own projects within this framework. We are looking for a candidate with a recent PhD in for example molecular genetics, familiar with analysis of complex epistatic segregation distortion. Basic molecular biological laboratory skills and good skills in microsatellite and snp genotyping as well as sequencing are further requirements for this position. Highly motivated candidates with relevant expertise at all of the points mentioned above are encouraged to get in contact.
