We are looking for a Planning & Fulfillment (P&F) Center manager in Västerås Sweden to be part of our global team with demonstrated leadership and strong execution capability by applying problem solving skills with analytical mind set across disciplines. By leading a team of 30 team members, including direct reporting managers, the successful candidate will drive demand planning initiatives, secure lead-times and on time delivery to our local divisions around the world.
Being accountable for inventory and supply plan adherence, lead Demand Planning, Order & Fulfillment as well as our warehouse operations. The P&F Center manager will also secure the day to day operations execution in line with ABB operating principles both at local and global level and take lead in Process Control Platform (PCP) strategic projects.
This position reports to Planning & Fulfillment Manager.
Your responsibilities
Ensure that your area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
Communicate and drive the organization to meet milestones and targets.
Accountable for tracking and keeping costs within budget.
Guide, motivate and develop direct/indirect subordinates within HR policies.
Drive continuous improvements with cross-functional initiatives for optimizing processes and performance.
Develope and support best practices within Planning & Fulfillment, both local and global.
Secure forecast accuracy, inventory, lead-times and deliveries.

Your background
Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years' working experience
Preferably 2-3 years of senior managerial experience and 1 year in Supply Chain Management
Good skills in Demand Planning, Materials handling, Sourcing/Buying, Engineering or Category Management or Project management
Fluent in both spoken and written English
