Payment Manager

We are now looking for a Payment Manager to Ikano Bank's headquarters in Hyllie, Malmö. You will be part of the global Finance Team, reporting to the Head of Finance and having a responsibility for the bank's payment processes.

Payment Teams in Ikano Bank participate in the monthly closure of books and performs daily bookings of incoming and outgoing payments with great attention both to operational risk, AML, financial compliance etc. Everyone in the teams contributes with continuous improvements. Interaction and collaboration with many stakeholders in different countries and departments both within, but also outside Ikano Bank, are the part of everyday work.

As a Payment Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

• Lead the Payment teams including the management responsibility for a team of two team managers and two subject matter experts
• Providing coaching, development, direction and leadership to team members focused on empowering them to achieve their potential
• Process owner of Ikano Bank's Payment processes
• Support the implementation on new solutions, new ways of working and the digital transformation
• Manage the contact with other Ikano Bank departments and third parties regarding the Payment processes.
• Drive continuous improvements and strive for streamlining and harmonizing processes.
• Report to Head of Finance regarding the process area's deliveries, challenges and risks.
• Live the Ikano values and nurture a strong and thriving Ikano culture.

Profile and qualifications

Other experiences and qualifications that are required for this position are:

• Proven experience from understanding and managing teams and individuals in change processes.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to keep the holistic view, even in times of change, constantly keeping track of the overall goal.
• Ability to make things happen.
• At least five years of leadership experience.
• Good knowledge of regulations, procedures, practices and principles related to the payment area.
• Experience in banking or finance in an international context.
• Experience and competence in accounting are desirable and preferable.
• Fluent in the English and Swedish language, both written and spoken.
