hela Sverige Volvo Trucks Europe Sales Area is now hiring a Parts Pricing and Logistics Manager who will be responsible to create and introduce yearly transfer parts price lists and secure an optimized supply chain of Genuine Volvo Parts with stakeholders.
The Parts Pricing and Logistics Manager will have a responsibility for one of our market clusters consisting of the markets; Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, UK and Russia.
Who we are:
Volvo Trucks Europe Sales Area (VT ESA), headed by Roger Alm, is one of four Sales Areas in the newly formed Volvo Trucks organization.
Your main responsibilities are:
Pricing
• Create and introduce yearly transfer parts price lists in the assigned markets
• Drive the OEM gross margin and monitor the consolidated gross margin on parts sales in the assigned markets.
• Analyze product offers and its transfer prices in the assigned markets
• Making price changes for individual parts, when needed
• Support creation of short term commercial campaigns and package prices
• Follow up the cost and surcharge development and drive related issues together with relevant stakeholders in the area
• Secure training and support to the assigned markets in parts pricing and discounting policies
In cooperation with the Parts Price and Logistics manager for the other market cluster, you will monitor the development of price levels in the markets to prevent cross border sales and cannibalization between markets, brands and other Volvo business areas. You will also, through official sources, obtain competitors parts price information; prepare market research and continuous price adaptation.
Logistics
• Secure an optimized supply chain of Genuine Volvo Parts with stakeholders (GTO LS and Volvo Trucks Sales Channels Management) for the assigned markets
• Monitor agreed KPI:s for example, DSI and backorder recovery and take actions on deviations
• Follow up the cost related to parts logistics and in cooperation with Area Directors drive related issues towards GTO LS and markets
• Participate in GTO LS market meetings for the assigned markets
• Secure right training and support to the assigned markets in parts logistics and stock management
Qualifications:
• University degree in engineering or business or equivalent experience
• Knowledge within the aftersales and retail business
• Aftermarket Systems knowledge
• Analytical skills
• Excellent ability to analyze and capture business needs
• Structured and process-oriented way of working
• Commercial awareness and a strong business understanding
• Goal and business result oriented
• Excellent Communication, presentation and networking skills
• A driver of change and a positive approach to change (can do mind-set)
• Fluent in written and spoken English
