Place of action
Aeronautics, a business area of Saab, offers advanced airborne systems, related subsystems, unmanned aerial systems, aerostructures and services to defence customers and commercial aerospace industries worldwide. Aeronautics is also responsible for development, production, marketing, selling and supporting of the Gripen fighter.
The Online Marketing Manager will be part of the Gripen Export organisation, in Marketing Communication, and provide marketing support for the team working with Gripen marketing and sales.
Your role
Our function Marketing Communication needs reinforcement with a person that will take responsibility of our digital media, including Gripen web, blog, social media etc. The task is to make sure that Gripen is presented in a correct and interesting way to our targets groups in the digital marketing channels.
The Online Marketing Manager will be responsible for:
• Create and publish news and articles
• Make short and long term plans for the development of digital media
• Plan and suggest new ways of using digital media.
• Monitor Gripen on other webs, blogs etc.
• Be present at our events and create stories for the Gripen web, blog etc
• Represent Gripen Export in joint Saab projects in digital media.
• Take part in the Marketing Communication team and support the production of other marketing communication projects
The job holder must have the ability to take own initiatives and drive the digital media strategy forward, take on great responsibility and have good communication skills. It is important to have excellent knowledge in managing digital media. The position is much about creating texts that reach out to our different target groups, and to do that writing skills is very essential.
The successful candidate will have either a degree in communication/marketing etc and/ or been working with digital media (preferably both). Using pictures is an important tool in digital media so interest in photographing would be an advantage.
An advanced understanding of English, including high level of competence and confidence in reading, writing and verbal reasoning is essential, and skills in other language is a merit. Willingness and ability to travel when required is a prerequisite.
