• Leads, composes and prepares the financial planning and budgeting process for the Nordic Oncology BU (annual & long term) and provides high quality input.
• Prepares analyses and presentations for local and global business reviews, represents BU finance during business reviews and ensures the development of detailed budgets and financial forecast at all relevant levels. Leads follow up of outcomes and execution of agreed action with regard to finance related actions.
• Participates and supports strategic and operational planning processes including the Cx process and assists managers in the formulation of their business and financial plans to ensure full transparency on key business issues and drivers.
• Challenges budget and project proposals including underlying assumptions. Maintains and monitors valid financial plans including timely identification of opportunities and risks to ensure corrective actions can be taken as needed and as early as possible.
• Develops and maintains systems, key performance indicators/early warning systems to track performance and to deliver against target at different levels of responsibility within the BU.
• Collaborates and Communicates effectively with the Nordic Oncology Leadership Team and ensure finance business partnering and support across the countries and functions in the Nordic Cluster.
• Collaborates and Communicates proactively and effectively with the Oncology Regional Office and local FRA department to ensure data consistency, full alignment of reporting processes and operational excellence of the different systems for financial analysis and reporting.
• Represents Finance within the BU to ensure that consistent internal and external financial data, business planning, accounting and control are an integral part of the decision-making process within the marketing, sales, market access and medical functions of the BU.
• Identifies improvements and business opportunities and assists in the development and maintenance of information systems vital to provide all levels of the organization with standardized analyses and reports, containing consistent and timely information necessary for decision making.
• Leads the Business Planning & Analysis Department - including performance measure cycle, talent development discussion.
• Proactively and continuously suggests measures or corrections aiming at improved profitability
• Be an active member of the local BU management teams
The ideal candidate will have:
• University degree in economics, business, or related field
• Fluent English
• One Scandinavian language (preferred)
• Significant (4-6 years) experience in budgeting and/or controlling positions
• Experience designing and operating financial reporting and forecasting systems
• Excellent analytical ability combined with broad picture perspective
• Strong written and oral communication skills, and ability to clearly present financial data in reports distributed.
• Proven leadership experience or strong leadership potential desired.
