What the role's about:
To succeed in this role you need to secure a reliable and cost-effective execution from incoming material, via warehouse and/or manufacturing/repairs, to orders shipped. You will be responsible for leading production & logistics team to achieve high performance execution of production, repairs, inventory control, and logistics. The team consists of 8 people today.
The role will be based in Stockholm, and you will be working in an industry that has a huge unexploited potential and ambitious agenda!
What you'll do:
As our new Manager of Production & Logistics you will cultivate a great team dynamic and create an effective workflow. You are responsible for the KPIs of the units, and that requires resourceful planning (staff and equipment) including approval of maintenance. You are of course responsible for budget and accurate inventory management. To ensure that we at Tobii Dynavox reaches our goals, you need to make sure to manage priorities to achieve largest long-term value. That includes clearly escalate when issues arise and work according to quality and environmental requirements, standards, and other regulations.
According to Tobii Dynavox's leadership principles, you will coach and coordinate the team-tasks and secure and follow up on team members competence, objectives, and goals. You are responsible to drive continuous improvement in overall performance of the Production & Logistics operation, and that means update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements, ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements, and record of successful distribution and logistics management.
Who are you?
To be successful in this role, we think you need to be a result-orientated, good communicator and a present leader that independently takes full responsibility and owns the accountability. You have great analytical skills and have no problem handling multiple projects at the same time. You also have the ability to build strong relationships with both key collaborators and your team members, to secure reliability, increased engagement and decreased risks.
You are hands on while at the same time finding the balance to delegate and develop others, proactively understands what needs to be done and develop a clear strategic plan to enable execution. You are pedagogic and communicate effectively across different levels and parts of the organization, and you are not afraid to stand up for your own point of view. As a person you are also strong in structure and can see the big picture, understands the overall business goals, and explain that to your teams in a relevant and concrete way. You have a high capacity while maintaining quality and preferably enjoy a changing environment with high demands.
What are your qualifications?
We are looking for someone with a technical background, preferred from leading a team in logistics or production. You have proven leadership skills, knowledge how to handle and balance customer service and cost, and proficient ERP knowledge.
You also have:
• Advanced understanding of supply chain set up and its complexity
• Knowledge of export rules and regulations and good understanding of quality standards and health and safety regulations
• Knowledge of production and logistics management
• Basic technology knowledge
• Fluent in English
