Epson is now seeking a Manager of Business Management for the Nordics region, with responsibility for coordination between central business unit and local sales unit and will as 'right-hand' of Head of Sales, Nordics.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Sales, Nordics and will be based from our office in Kista, Sweden, with local and regional travel a regular feature of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide business intelligence and support as the 'right-hand' of the local Sales Leader, to ensure the necessary commercial environment for sales target achievement.
• Manage a team which may include Product Management, MPS Sales Specialist and other supporting roles depending on business requirements.
• Through a thorough understanding of market situation, competitive environment and channel structure / dynamics, work with Sales Management and Marketing Services to develop and implement a 'Go-to-Market' plan for allocated channels.
• Using data provided by the Commercial Team (Finance) and feedback from Sales, develop and maintain a sales achievement commentary for use in regular business review meetings (e.g. MBR etc.) and reports (e.g. R3).
• Assess requests for special pricing, checking completeness of data and reasonableness of request, and approve/decline as appropriate.
• Track and report any gaps in achievement vs. target, and contribute to discussions / proposals to close the gap. Once approved, support implementation of the actions.
• Support the Sales Manager in the development of local commercial conditions within the framework of the European Commercial Policy. Contribute to the annual European Commercial Policy review.
• Monitor and review the effectiveness / efficiency of the Sales Automation Tools (e.g. CRM1, CRM2 etc.) and processes and make recommendations for improvement as necessary.
• Track the current and potential sales within the 'Pipeline' and use this knowledge to provide input to the sales forecast 'enrichment' process.
• Provide comprehensive business review and support to the Sales Manager in the development of the annual Business Plan (BP), and quarterly BP reviews.
• Actively and regularly engage with the European Business Unit to ensure that the situation and requirements of the region are represented and understood at European level (e.g. market / competition commercial situation, channel requirements etc.).
• Ensure proper and early escalation to European Business Unit, of key region issues and follow-up to ensure necessary countermeasures are taken.
• Support the Sales Leader by facilitating the target setting process for the commission of sales people, and the channel account

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Product / Business Management background within a related industry B2B print or AV
• Ideally experienced working in a regional team and managing/influencing results remotely.
• Ability to logically assess and assimilate information from a variety of sources.
• Good communication skills at management level.
• Technology oriented.
• Graduate caliber
• Fluent local language and English required, both verbal and written.
