Grundskoleförvaltningens övergripande uppdrag är att ge alla Malmös elever samma möjligheter att lyckas i skolan och nå goda resultat. Malmö International School (MIS) provides education in English for approximately 200 students, aged 6 - 16. The school is publicly funded and founded by the city of Malmö in response to the growing demand for a truly international education.
MIS is a place where our aim is that each and every student feels successful, appreciated and involved. The school is an international school where different cultures meet in unity, mutual respect and understanding.
MIS strives to create an atmosphere where intellectual growth, personal reflection and international mindedness are the main concerns of everyone. Our primary goal is to prepare our students for lifelong learning.
MIS adheres to the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes of study: PYP and MYP.
The IB Learner Profile is the core of both programmes.
The Primary Years Programme (PYP 1-6) is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization and is officially an IB World School for students aged 6-12. After school care is available up to the age of 12.
The Middle Years Programme (MYP) is in the candidate phase to become an authorized IB MYP school for students aged 12-16. The IB MYP is a framework for the curriculum taught and incorporates the Swedish National Curriculum as the basis for the subject content. The students in the MYP receive assessments according to IB criteria together with Swedish grades, which enables them to enter higher education in Sweden and around the world.

This includes all meetings and day to day originasation, with knowledge and strategy, to work with and include ICT in all planning, development, and personal ICT development of student and staff.
Continue to develop the ICT project of the school on a "one to one" basis, with Ipads with both student and staff, while co-ordination together with LIN education. Complete adminstrative directive over alla Macs, Ipads, Iphones being used within the school.
Lead all work sith MaApps, Malmö schools Google Apps system för digital information of the school.
Administration of our webpage, blog and other IT system included in the organisation of Malmö schools.
KvalifikationerExperience with working with ICT/Media. Pedagogical work with IPads and Mac is strongly suggested. Work includes teaching students and staff, from no prior experience of ICT to the experienced user.
Broad competence of using technology as a learning resourse eith special needs students i.e dyslexia, ADD etc.
University studies including ICT/Media and/or pedagogial courses.
Knowledge and command om English is required, as this an international school where the common language is English.
The person who applies needs to be perceptive to the needs of student ant staff, selfstarter, enthusiastic, flexible with the ability to apply structure to your and others work in order to reach the planned goals. You must have the desire to extend your own field of knowledge, as well at help others extend theirs.
