The business unit Energy & Sustainability Services (ESS) at Schneider Electric is currently pursuing a strategic sales and business development plan within Sustainability on a Nordic level. In line with this strategic new focus, ESS Sweden is hiring a Sustainability Key Account Manager & Business Developer, who will be part of the Swedish Sales and Business Development team.
What's included in the role?
• Solution Sales: Perform sales of Schneider Electric Sustainability offer (products and services), towards private sector. High sales activity while following ESS solution selling methodology.
• Business Development: Understand market drivers, identify key customer segments and form Schneider Electric Sustainability offer in Sweden together with Swedish ESS Sales team and Nordic/Baltic Business manager.
• Internal communication: Business Development and Solution Sales requires internal support and knowledge sharing, and accordingly internal communication and cooperation is key to success.
Work experience
• At least 5 years experience from B2B sales. Experience from value based sales of complex solutions is a strong merit. Used to work with Solution Selling.
• We think you might have been working in fields like Management Consulting or Sales and Business Development in e.g. IT sector or other relevant B2B industry.
• Experience from business development of complex solutions is a merit.
Education
• University degree or similar in Sales & Marketing, Finance, Engineering or other relevant field.
Personal attributes
• You have a passion for making business and signing contracts. You enjoy every step in the sales process: from the cold call, throughout demand creation, value proposition and negotiation, to the continuous dialogue with recurring customers.
• You find motivation in setting clear targets, and you "do what it takes" to reach them.
• You have the ability to concretize and simplify complex situations based on incomplete variables.
• You are good at both taking and giving feedback, sharing knowledge and cooperating with people inside and outside your team.
• You have a positive mindset towards your work and the people you work with. You give energy to your colleagues and work proactively to ensure a positive atmosphere in the team.
