hela Sverige We are now looking for a Business Control in Gothenburg to a big Automotive company. This is an excellent opportunity to get great experience and to develop as a Controller in a global environment.
This is a consulting assignment through us at Poolia Väst and you will be hired by us and work at this big client of ours. We hope that you can start the job in the beginning of 2023. The assignment will dure until juli 2024. After this there might be possibilities to be extended for the right person.

About the position
The Purchasing Controlling department at this global Automotive company assures high quality data to help the Purchasing organization take the right decisions to achieve company strategic objectives. Controllers are taking a proactive approach by challenging Purchasing with qualitative performance analysis to point out areas which need to be improved. This department is present on all major sites to be close to the business. As a global team they share the same tools and processes to support and challenge the organization in the most efficient way.
This global team are responsible of operating expenses, Financial reporting and consolidation for Purchasing. You report to the Director Financial Reporting within the Group Trucks Purchasing organization.
Responsibilities
• Actively involved in Operating Expenses annual budget and forecast related processes.
• Perform monthly gap analysis
• Prepare comments on Operating Expenses monthly result for our internal stakeholders.
• Closely monitor headcount reporting
• Actively involved in all projects affecting our team scope (IT or process)
• Drive continuous improvement activities
• Understand stakeholders' needs and provide daily Business Control services
Your profile
We are looking for a person that has some previous experience within Economics and wants to take the next step to becom a successful Controller. You have a basic understanding of processes and flows in the financial sector. Following requirements are essential for this role:
• Batchelor or Master degree in Finance or Business
• First successful experience in Finance
• Ability to work in English. Swedish is meritorious.
• Ability/desire to work in a global team
• Strong IT skill with good knowledge of Microsoft Office. If you have knowledge of Power BI that's a merit
• Data driven mindset
• Proactive, agile and autonomous
