Financial processes are becoming more automated and the audit field is in a position to match the evolution of the industry. IT Audit is more important than ever! KPMG Sweden's goal is to build the department to fully take advantage of the audit evolution. Are you ready to join the movement? Work closely with your colleagues to identify risks, communicate improvements, transform data into insights and efficiencies in the audit process, and sell our services to add value to our clients. IRM is the future!

Your role
IRM is approximately 30 professionals and is a fast-growing area within KPMG, full of opportunities for the right candidates to further and expand their career in IT audit and analytics. A quarter of our team members have over 10 years of industry experience each. We are now looking for Senior Associates, Assistant Managers, Mangers, and Senior Managers.
Our teams are based in Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö and we work within three main areas:
• IT Audit as part of the external and internal audit.
• IT Assurance assignments on cyber security, internal audit, ISO 27000, project assurance, process mining and third-party assurance via ISAE/SOC reporting
• Data analytics as part of the audit approach or as assurance over our client's IT environments.

As we are currently building up and standardizing the IRM department you will have an unique opportunity to influence and contribute to the way we work with IT audit and D&A in Sweden and abroad. In addition to IT audit, we also focus heavily on (1) developing and increasing the use of Data & Analytics within audit, and (2) expanding our portfolio beyond audit- into assurance to provide more services around cyber security, internal audit, ISO 27000, project assurance, process mining and third-party assurance via ISAE/SOC reporting.
Not only will you be working on exciting and interesting engagements, but you will also have the opportunity to build a business case and advance your career in an egalitarian office environment. We work with international clients and much of our reporting is in English.

IRM collaborates with other departments on projects in digitalization, automation and cyber security. We are a diverse and international team with team members from UK, France, US, China, Russia, Australia and Sweden, with backgrounds in IT, economics, law, marketing, system development, engineering and data science.

Your Experience
We think you have 3-10 years working experience within IT audit, financial auditing, internal control or similar, bachelor's or master's degree in systems science, information systems, economics or similar. ERP knowledge (eg SAP, Movex / M3, Microsoft Dynamics) is meritorious as well as relevant certifications, eg CISA. Previous Big4 experience is a plus. You will need an excellent understanding of the IT environments impact on the audit as a whole and you will support the audit teams in planning and concluding around the IT related risks in the audit. Accomplishes unit objectives by managing teams of 3 or more for multiple engagements simultaneously.

You will work in a broad and varied role where you primarily manage a client portfolio to identify IT-related risks, evaluate and test internal controls in the IT area of different types of customer companies, in different types of industries and report opportunities for improvement to customers. In addition, identify and sell opportunities to potential clients. The work takes place in close collaboration with other IT audit colleagues as well as the financial auditors in the audit teams as the IT audit is a natural and integral part of the audit in general.

We attach great importance to improving and developing the way we perform auditing and IT auditing, as well as the development of our employees. As we are a relatively new and growing department, there are great opportunities to influence and run various development projects based on your experience and interests, such as ERP experience (SAP, Movex / M3 etc), methodology, data analysis, training or other. There is also the opportunity to take on the role of responsible for developing and operating one of our service areas. In short, the possibilities are many.
