Young potentials Program Production

Our goal is to find people who are passionate about IT, who share our values and have high ambitions. In return, we offer you a unique chance to experience and develop at IKEA in a global, process-oriented, multi-vendor and customer-focused environment with a permanent contract of employment. During the 12-months Young potentials Program at IKEA IT you will get to know IKEA IT from every perspective through training and hands-on involvement. You will start your training in April 2015 and you will receive extensive experience and knowledge about IKEA's IT organization and we will prepare you for a dynamic long-term career within IKEA. During your first year you will train in readiness to take the following role by going side by side with a senior colleague as well as having an individual development plan:
System Specialist
A System Specialist has the professional technical competence that is needed to provide excellent IT infrastructure services to support the growing IKEA. If you have a strong technical drive, proactive, service-minded, enjoy working with others and is curious about how to constantly improve our deliveries we want you to apply for these positions. We are looking for you who would like to be part of the development in one of the following technical areas: integration, network, database, e-commerce, windows, directories, security, cloud management and monitoring.
To be a successful candidate you need have:
• a strong interest in making a career at IKEA and IKEA IT.
• a university degree or equivalent knowledge.
• at least 1 year of working experience.
• fluency in English spoken and written
• a flexible attitude to work at one of our sites.
As a person you are bold enough to ask "why?" as a typical team player with a business mind who enjoys building cross functional relationships. You have a high sense of ambition, can set your own goals and are eager to grow with the responsibility and by leading yourself. Of course you have an interest in life at home and share IKEAs values.
