The opportunity:
Hitachi Energy is seeking a dynamic Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support the Grid Components (GC) business within Hub High Voltage (HV) Europe and additionally to support the Hub HV Europe Marketing & Sales Leaders. Reporting to the Hub HV Europe HRBP, this role holder will lead a team of GC HRBP's working with GC leaders to deliver the people strategy as well as supporting the HV Europe Marketing & Sales Leader. If you are an experienced individual who has proven collaboration skills, working with diverse stakeholders across cultures aswell as understanding business drivers and able to drive the implementation of appropriate people strategies, we want to hear from you!
This position is preferably based in Västerås or Ludvika, Sweden, or other key HV-locations.
How you will make an impact
Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders to support the formulation and achievement of business strategies. Provide relevant and timely interventions to continuously improve and enhance organizational performance and engagement, with a focus on short, medium, and long-term goals.
Drive the coordination and implementation of HR processes such as capability and workforce planning (C&WP), talent development, performance management, and engagement. Ensure these key processes are fully leveraged to achieve maximum benefits for the business.
Ensure robust capability and workforce planning is undertaken with a focus on longer-term business needs. Collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition to devise strategies and tactics to deploy and achieve these plans.
Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Country HR to drive further improvements and provide increased support to the business.
Build a performance culture within the business by focusing on the development of high-performing teams and optimal organization structures to achieve business success. Identify performance issues and collaborate with line managers and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to address them.
Drive reward programs for individuals and teams that are linked to business priorities and Compensation & Benefits (C&B) guidelines.
Create and continuously enhance a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Proactively support organizational change programs with highly effective execution plans and change management interventions.
Your background
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Experience of leading a team, preferably of HR professionals.
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner (across multi locations) or in a similar role, preferably within the power and energy industry, or another international company with a complex matrix organization.
Experience leading projects and implementing new procedures.
Strategic mindset as well as data analysis abilities. Forward thinking, able to develop and implement innovative ideas.
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Fluency in English is mandatory.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights and being structured and organized in your approach.
Experience of working across diverse cultures and geographies.
