HEAD OF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT
The logistics department is responsible for the complete supply chain from purchasing to deliveries of all material, to our external as well as internal customers.
The functions within the department are strategic purchasing and purchasing administration, forecasts and supply planning, customer order and invoice handling, administration of stock, shipping, returns and sub-supplier production support.
The Head of Supply Chain Management main responsibilities are:
• To develop and manage the quality control of the supply chain with the target to simplify routines and reduce the total cost of supply
• To develop and improve tools of handling the routines within the department and to coordinate tools and routines with head office
• To set and follow up targets of the different functions, within the department
• To guide and develop the staff
• To set up the budget and follow up the cost
• To find suitable suppliers, evaluate, create and negotiate contracts with strategic suppliers
• To coordinate strategic suppliers with head office
• To actively participate in steering committees of development project
• To participate in product release processes
• To evaluate the contract requirements of the bid process
• Based on market information and together with head office create forecasts to the suppliers
Applicants to this position should have the following qualifications:
• relevant education, with a university degree
• previous experience from supply chain management in an international environment
• experience from electronic industry (sw/hw) is desired
• verbal and written communications skills in English
• able to be "tough" in a professional manner
• previous experience from dealing with suppliers is desired
