The Buses & Coches sales team at Sales and Marketing has the global Buses & Coches sales responsibility, and together with the Business Units, as well as the Independent Distributors, faces highly interesting and challenging tasks. In this role, you will have a great opportunity to influence Scania's long term growth and profitability ambitions.
Work description
You will be part of the Sales Management team and will report to Ignacio Cortezón (Head Sales of Buses & Coaches). You will also manage a team of 8 people (Area Managers and Market Coordinators).
Based on the aligned Common Commercial Strategies, you will have the overall responsibility for the RTA - Round Table Agreement process and roll-out, that will define the short/medium term focused activities to be executed together with all our Business Units and Independent Distributors. With this, you as Head of Sales AE region - Buses & Coches at Sales and Marketing, will have the responsibility for the sales volumes, revenues and overall profitability, as well as for the Volume Planning process, fundamental analytical activity that will consolidate global market demands and provide the adequate input for Scania's Production & Logistics activities.
Together with your team you will work closely together with the Product Segments - to cater for our long term growth with profitability, by steering the activities to enter new segments, industries and applications. Finally, it is important to underline that you will have a consistent overall life cycle profitability holistic approach and view, not only for the Buses & Coches business area, but rather the optimizing the business as a whole for Scania.
Your profile
You shall have a strong customer focus and your work will require both broad commercial skills as well as product knowledge. A strong track record in developing people and teams with good leadership and communication skills is required, as well as a thorough understanding of the complete Scania business. You will be working with a broad contact network at the Business Units as well as internally at Head-Office level. Extensive experience from an international business environment and a cross functional way of working will be highly meriting and you are inspired by working in a multi-cultural environment, where travelling is a natural part of the work. You have an entrepreneurial drive and inspire your team to take on new challenges and opportunities.
