We're establishing a Professional Services organisation to accommodate the needs of being able to support our platform partners in an even better way going forward. The Head of Professional Services is a highly visible, key role within Doktor.se, reporting to the Commercial Platform Director. With a keen eye for partner success and loyalty, the individual in this position will assist our partner teams with positioning the services needed for a successful partnership and will manage a team of consultants focused on supporting our partners within areas such as pre-study, design, deployment as well as development work for partner specific requirements.
The Head of Professional Services will have the experience and educational background to effectively lead growing teams within the Professional Services organisation - recruiting, managing, directing and inspiring a team with a diverse set of skills and backgrounds. You will have experience in delivering services in a measurable way - always looking to improve partner satisfaction, productivity and efficiency of the operation through scalable processes and improved methodology.
As Head of Professional Services you will:
• Direct a team of consultants - ensuring that: - Services delivered are of high quality, on-time, and within budget.
• Consultants are trained, equipped, and inspired to deliver excellent services to our partners.
• Consultants are meeting utilization and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Recruit consultants to ensure that we are able to grow the Professional Services organisation on increased demands.
• Maintain a candidate pipeline that meets the needs of our current and future demands, supporting that we can respond to rapid growth.
• Maintain a services backlog by supporting sales efforts and responding to service-only inquiries.
• Work with partner teams to position services and draft statements of work in support of sales pursuits.

On a typical day, you might:
• Meet one on one with a consultant to review their projections and provide guidance on project delivery.
• Review key metrics to ensure that we meet revenue goals, acting on items that put our success at-risk.
• Run a biweekly team meeting or weekly project overview meeting.
• Meet with partner teams to review discovery notes for a partner with complex needs to prepare for a partner visit/meeting.
• Revise our onboarding strategy so that consultants are able to get up to speed on product and process quickly.
• Take a call from an unhappy partner whose expectations were mismanaged - during the call, restore their confidence and realign expectations.
• Present at the monthly Town Hall meeting on recent partner go lives and Professional Services performance.
• Deliver a presentation on implementation strategy to a class of new hires.
• Brainstorm with the Product team on how to reduce our time to value through product enhancements.
Qualifications and personal qualities
• 5+ years' experience of managing people (direct reports).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills including the proven ability to recruit, mentor, and motivate.
• Demonstrated experience meeting revenue and customer satisfaction targets with limited resources.
• An analytical mind with the demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Experience with the target market - large organizations in the healthcare, technology, financial services, and higher education industries.
• A strong work ethic, exhibiting leadership by example.
• The ability to solve problems creatively. Ability to develop and manage business solutions for complex problems.
• The ability to hold yourself and your team accountable to results and the willingness to share your performance results transparently.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship skills with a willingness to develop open and honest professional relationships.
• Strong business writing skills.
• Ability to adapt to a frequently changing and growing environment, which may result in changed priorities or changed job duties.
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in technology or business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
