What will you be doing?
As the Group Manager Safety for On-road applications, you will together with your team be responsible to specify and review technical concepts and solutions and ensure that the safety requirements are fulfilled for our autonomous On-road applications.
Your team consist of highly skilled engineers with diverse personalities and backgrounds, and you will be on top of defining how to achieve the best and continuously improving work situation for them. You are also on a mission to find new members complementing your existing strengths in competence and character.
Your role is to provide a collaborative working environment and cultivate passion, trust, and transparency through clear communication. You will build, grow, and lead a world-class engineering team by developing a culture of learning and through coaching and career development.
As our next leader, you will also set the roadmap and objectives for your organization and act as servant leader to get your team there. In addition, you will ensure that our way of working is followed and continuously improved and further develop the strong safety culture in our organization. Most importantly, you will serve as a role model of the culture and the values within Volvo Autonomous Solutions.

Qualifications:
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Software, Mechatronics or equivalent
Years of experience working with either machines or road vehicles within the Safety area
Knowledge of safety engineering processes (Hazard and Operability Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis etc.)
Knowledge in development according to safety Standards such as ISO12100, ISO13849, ISO17757, ISO26262, SOTIF or equivalent
Documentation experience and good documentation skills
Fluent in English, written and spoken
