With strong R&D resources, Nordberg Medical is poised to expand into multiple lines of medical device products covering fields such as aesthetics, orthopaedics, trauma surgery, sports medicine, neurosurgery, and plastic surgery.

Nordberg Medical AB passed a significant milestone in 2021 by receiving CE certification for its PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic Acid) based collagen stimulant, JULÄINETM, positioning the company well to pursue an aggressive growth strategy for the aesthetic dermatology market. JULÄINE is manufactured by a CMO in Sweden. Nordberg Medical AB has also initiated an FDA application that will support entry into the US and additional key markets.

About the position
The Global Supply Chain Manager is responsible for ensuring the inbound delivery of inventory from global suppliers, and ensuring that outbound customer sales orders are executed successfully. This role will manage relationships with third party logistics providers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders. The individual will also be tasked with key strategic efforts to drive cost savings and service improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and service levels.
• Ensure that products are stored, handled and distributed according to Nordberg and local GDP standards by following local and Global policies and by meeting local regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain relevant systems and processes.
• Perform integrated supply chain duties associated with, but not limited to, production planning, transportation planning, and inventory management.
• Interact with various cross-functional teams to provide support and ensure timely completion of tasks in alignment with corporate goals and new product launches.
• Manage inbound freight planning and execution with global suppliers.
• Manage new product launches with product setup at third party logistics providers, freight forwarder(s), customs broker, and government agencies.
• Manage product returns with internal sales team and with the third party logistics provider.
• Create purchase orders, reconciles receipts and opens balances.
• Prepare inventory, transportation, and sales reports.
• Monitor competitor and distribution channel business activities.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Your profile
Professional Experience/Qualifications:

Required
• 3-5 years of Supply Chain experience.
• Fluent in English.
• Deep knowledge and strong understanding of Supply Chain Management in the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry.
• Detail focused with exceptional organizational skills.
• Skilled at troubleshooting and risk mitigation.
• Proven ability to show initiative and sense of urgency.
Preferred
• Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, Global Logistics or Supply Chain Management
• Supply Chain experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry

Working and employment conditions:

With our priority on productivity and communication, we take a flexible approach to working location. In consultation with senior management, the successful candidate will be able to combine working remotely and from the company's headquarters in central Stockholm. Regular attendance for group meetings is required.
