Your mission
In this position, you lead a cross-functional category team, ensuring alignment with company strategy to maximize business contribution. In collaboration with Global Category Managers, you formulate and establish sourcing strategies to ensure a sustainable supply base. You lead and participate in sourcing projects, including strategic sourcing, supplier selection, negotiation and creation of agreements.
Key responsibilities:
Manage relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
Establish risk mitigation for critical suppliers.
Continuously update and manage category information.
Monitor the global supply market and interpret market intelligence.
The preferred location for this position is Sandviken or Stockholm, Sweden, but other locations may be considered for the right candidate. We apply a hybrid work solution, allowing you to combine office and remote work.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with extensive experience and knowledge in procurement of direct materials, with a strong ability to independently drive various projects with different stakeholders. You have a few years' commercial experience, specializing in category-driven purchasing, supply, production, sales or finance. Your knowledge is backed by a degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Acting in a global environment calls for proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
As a leader, you motivate and guide teams towards achieving goals. You're structured and organized with a problem-solving mindset and supportive approach. With excellent communication skills, you're able to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and deliver presentations to top management.
