Within HR at AstraZeneca they have a clear vision to be recognised as a world-class HR function that drives business success. They have an important mission to provide people practices and support to their customers and employees. The Global Recruitment Lead(s) will be aligned globally to one or more client groups within Global Medicines Development and will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies in partnership with the Human Resources Business Partners, Senior Business Leaders and Hiring Managers. The Lead will work with Recruitment colleagues across multiple locations to identify and fill vacancies with talented individuals with the right capability and skills in a timely and cost efficient manner. The Lead will also have accountability for building connections and driving alignment across all functions within HR to ensure the recruitment and on-boarding process is managed smoothly from both the perspective of the clients and candidates. The Lead will also serve as the Recruitment Partner for a small number of critical, global hires. Primary tasks are:
• Serve as the single recruiting contact for assigned GMD Leaders/client leads. Serve as a consultant to client group leadership regarding market research and sourcing strategies.
• Drive the execution of global recruiting strategy (planning, tracking, implementation, troubleshooting) for assigned client group(s).
• With the business, proactively identify required capabilities, volumes and locations for the purpose of developing a 12 to 18 month recruiting plan; ensure RP assignments are appropriately made in partnership with country recruiting service delivery leads.
• Serve as Recruiting Partner for assigned global roles within GMD; serve as consultant and single point of contact for hiring manager.
• Track, anticipate and escalate resourcing â'hot spots' where we are likely to experience significant issues in meeting resource requirements - and propose mitigation strategies.
• Working with country recruiting leads, provide regular recruiting status, project status reporting and key risks reviews with assigned Leaders/GHRBPs; propose mitigation actions to address risks.
• Take proactive and corrective action when necessary to ensure the individual recruitment and on-boarding issues or challenges are identified and addressed (immigration, relocation, International Assignments, etc.).
• Continually identify process improvements to the global recruiting and on-boarding process, and help to develop sustainable solutions in partnership with country recruiting leads and the recruiting COE.
• In partnership with HRBP and recruiting community, including our outsourcing partners, identify strategies/tools to support hiring managers.
• Lead special project, as assigned, designed to streamline the recruiting and on-boarding process and experience.
Vem är du?
We are looking for you with experience from working across different cultures and comfortable and credible operating in a complex, matrix and global environment; able to function effectively in an ambiguous environment. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, are able to quickly build strong relationships across a range of key stakeholders and customers, with credibility and gravitas. You also have strong negotiating skills, are able to identify business focused solutions in the face of organizational or administrative barriers. You are also able to contract roles, responsibilities and deliverables. You are able to build networks across the organization and to drive action through influence. Competent IT skills are necessary, including all Microsoft office, spreadsheets, databases, reports and able to produce meaningful management information. Previous experience supporting or working within client groups in a Pharmaceutical, late-stage, Clinical/Medical environment would be an advantage. The position will include travel on a regular basis since you will work across 3 or more geographical locations.
